Mike's Personal Mission

Hi, my name is Michael J. Cruz. I am a Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator, Consciousness guide, and Certified Personal Trainer whose life has been a continual movement from service in uniform to service of the soul.

Growing up as a Hispanic male in one of the poorest and crime-riddled cities in America (Camden, New Jersey), trauma was at the forefront of my life early on. After witnessing a multitude of disturbing things, I grew up knowing I wanted to help people, but didn’t know exactly how. I established a career in law enforcement as a police officer in my early 20s, thinking this would be it, but quickly recognized that that lifestyle was not conducive to who I wanted to be. After reaching the pinnacle of what I thought was success through becoming a Nationally Qualified Men’s Physique Competitor, a well-known certified personal trainer, and a trucking and towing business owner, I still felt empty inside. With this emptiness came the unraveling of all of my childhood and adult traumas. It was at this time that I realized that I needed to do something different before I completely self-destructed. Needless to say, I encountered my first psilocybin experience that completely changed my life for the better. After years of a lot of self-work and therapy, that’s when, deep down, I realized my true calling in life. 

In 2024, I returned to academia at Maharishi International University, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA in the Consciousness and Human Potential Master’s Program. Simultaneously, I’ve trained rigorously to become a licensed psilocybin practitioner through the state of Colorado’s training requirements approved by the Department of Regulatory Agency, becoming one of the state’s few licensed psilocybin facilitators through Elemental Psychedelics. I have also renewed my personal training certificate while also adding the following specializations to my training curriculum: Corrective Exercise Specialist, Nutritional Coach, and Strength and Conditioning.

Today, I serve as an independent facilitator who crafts intentional preparation, ceremony, and integration for my clients. I help create safe spaces where profound healing and awakening unfold. My approach weaves the timeless wisdom from years of experience with modern psychedelic facilitation, grounded in the direct experience of higher states of consciousness.

Driven by a simple yet unshakable purpose to promote the total well-being (spiritual, mental, and physical) of every person I meet. I step fully into my role as a bridge-builder between expanded states and embodied living.
